Oxygen Concentrator Rental

Supplemental oxygen use at altitude can be very beneficial in preventing Altitude Sickness!
We are happy to provide oxygen rental to PREVENT ALTITUDE SICKNESS, however, if you are already feeling sick, a complete assessment and treatment plan may be required. Please call us for more information.

Who are we?

We are a medical practice which only uses medical grade oxygen concentrators to treat our patients. Legally, as required by the FDA, supplemental oxygen requires a prescription.

Why are we providing medical grade oxygen rentals?

We now provide this service as we have seen many patients, with Altitude Sickness, who have rented recreational oxygen concentrators through non-medical companies. These patients have gotten progressively sicker, to the point of becoming life threatening.  As licensed health care providers, we are committed to your health and wellbeing, which starts with disease prevention.

Rental of these non-medical machines can lead to worsening AMS or other life-threatening conditions that can mimic Altitude Sickness, such as heart attacks and strokes.

How can we obtain medical grade oxygen?

First, please call us at: 970-389-7999. Our medical provider will send a form to obtain a medical history and consents and schedule your delivery. When you arrive, you will call us and we will deliver your oxygen concentrator and assess your oxygen level on arrival. We will prescribe the oxygen and discuss how much and when you should use it.

These are the same concentrators that we use when treating a patient with Altitude Sickness.

  • Concentrator rental: $150 for 1st day with set up and 1 cannula, then $50/day
  • $350 for 1 week
  • Splitters ($15), CPAP adapters ($10) and extra cannula ($5) are available.
  • $50 surcharge for deliveries after 8pm
  • $100 travel surcharge for delivery to Copper, Keystone, Dillon and Silverthorne
  • We can accomidate those traveling to Vail and beyond by meeting you in Frisco (no surcharge).

We are not contracted with any insurance companies and do not bill them directly.

Because we are medical practice, we can provide you with a superbill which is a detailed receipt with diagnosis and procedure codes that you can submit to your insurance company.

We cannot guarantee that you will be reimbursed, as all insurance plans are different. We recommend checking with your insurance company if reimbursement is a concern.

We are opted out of Medicare, therefore, the superbill cannot be submitted to Medicare. You can, however, submit your superbill to your secondary insurance company.

For payment, we accept HSA cards and all credit and debit cards.
