Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a clinic we can visit?

No. We are a mobile medical house call service and do not have a facility. We come to you and care for you in the comfort of your home or lodging.

Do you take insurance?

No. We do not bill insurance directly but will give you a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company (except Medicare) for reimbursement based on your plan.

Will my insurance reimburse me for your services?

Reimburse is dependent on your specific plan and your deductible. We are typically considered “out of network” and bill as a “house-call visit”.

How much does a visit cost?

The fee for a house-call is $395 + medications, oxygen rental fees, and procedure fees if applicable. For example: A typical visit charge to treat altitude sickness is approximately $700 which includes the medication and treatments needed to get your vacation back on track! A typical visit charge for stitches is about $645. For more information on fees, please visit our services page.

Can you do x-rays?

Because we are a house-call service, we cannot do x-rays but we can write an order to have x-rays done at the local hospital. We can also provide you with information on other local services for orthopedic injuries.

Do you carry antibiotics?

Due to the limited hours of our local pharmacies, we do carry some of the most commonly prescribed antibiotics to get treatment started quickly when the pharmacy is closed.

Do you prescribe pain medication?

We do not prescribe or provide refills for narcotic pain medication or any controlled medications.
