What is telemedicine

Telemedicine allows you to discuss symptoms, medical issues, and more with a healthcare provider by phone or video. Using telemedicine, you can receive a diagnosis, learn your treatment options, and get a prescription.

When telemedicine appropriate?

Several issues can be treated remotely, such as:

Colds, rashes, conjunctivitis, UTI’s, sinusitis, sore throats, vomiting and diarrhea, medication refills to name a few.

Telemedicine isn’t appropriate for emergency situations like heart attack or stroke, cuts or lacerations, Altitude Sickness or broken bones. Anything that requires immediate, hands-on care or a hands on physical assessment should be handled in person.

Our practice will be closed from 9/19/2022 to 10/17/2022.

Information on altitude sickness can be found here on our website.

You can also leave us a message at: hamp@highaltitudemobilephysicians.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
